Worship

A Typical Service…

is a blend between contemporary sound while celebrating past traditions. On any given Sunday we sing several modern songs mixed in with few hymns.

Along with our corporate worship through song, a typical service also includes a time of Scripture reading, prayer and children’s time led by one of the many volunteers from our congregation. A time of engaging preaching is led by Pastor Jonathan.

We look forward to worshiping with you.

Music & Worship Statement

We at First Baptist Church Dimmitt, believe the creator God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ is worthy of worship and praise because He is the only One, true God, (John 14:6) and He is holy and sovereign. (Psalm 99:1-5; Hebrews 1:1-4)
Since God has provided a way for every individual to have salvation (John 3:16; Ephesians 1:3-14, 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10,13) and forgiveness (Acts 10:43) from sin through the death and resurrection (Matthew 28:1-7) of His Son Jesus Christ, this allows each person access to the throne of the Father and a personal relationship with Him. (Hebrews 4:14-16) Based on this truth, we believe that individual and corporate worship on a regular basis is important to maintaining an effective, vibrant relationship with the Father as well as strengthening and unifying brothers and sisters in Christ.
